The Annexe is a professional photographic rental studio operating as part of The Centre for Creative Photography at Marleston. The dedicated rental studios (Studios 4 & 5) are part of the main studio area, but with a separate entry. The annexe can be used as one large studio or divided by black curtains to make two spaces.

Features.

  • Private, well equipped.
  • Daylight – both side and top light.
  • Two car parks with plenty of off street parking.
  • Open from 8.30 am to 6 pm weekdays. After hours by arrangement (a $50 fee will apply).
  • Saturday opening by arrangement. Sunday opening attracts a $50 opening fee.
  • The space includes – reflectors, 3 stands per studio, boom stands, coffee + tea, camera tree (for one studio), ladders, Perspex backgrounds, tables and chairs etc.
  • Studio 5 = 9 x 8.5 meters (daylight studio).
  • Studio 4 = 6.5 x 4 meters.
  • Studio 3 = 6.5 x 4 meters
  • Studio 2 = 6.5 x 4 meters
  • Studio 1 = 6.5 x 4 meters

Above: Studio 5 - a transparent vinyl window allows the rollerdoor to be opened and the studio remain weather-proof. Studio 5 also has a skylight. Studios 5 & 4 can be curtained off from the other studios and each other. There is an attached kitchenette with fridge.		 Studios 1,2 & 3

Times quoted equals any part thereof which includes bumping in and bumping out.

Studio Hire includes:

  • Tables & chairs

Studio assistants may be required at $35 per hour after hours or at other times.
A non-refundable $50 deposit will be required from casual clients on the day of booking. Full payment will be required on the shooting day. Cancellation fees may apply to short notice cancellations at less than 24 hours. Storage and early drop off of props etc may be charged for. A clean up fee of $30 will apply for studios not reinstated after use. All prices quoted do not include GST.
