The Centre for Creative Photography in Adelaide, South Australia was founded in May 1997 as a professional photography school and Photographic Resource Centre. It has grown to become the largest and foremost provider of private photographic education within South Australia. We run accredited and single subject photography courses throughout the academic year, as well as regular winter and summer workshops. Just as importantly, the gallery space, The Light Gallery, in the front room shows regular exhibitions of photographic work, it is a valuable resource for all students at the C.C.P. The exhibited work comes from a variety of visual artists and draws on a number of traditions and processes. Twice a year the gallery exhibits work by students of the Centre. It is considered a vital mechanism to support the photography education program at the C.C.P.
